Engineer, Network Evolution Planning & Development

Your Role

• Provide support to commercial broadband data network and services, including technical evaluation, development, implementation and technical support
• Participate in Network Evolution Planning and IP core Network Architecture Development
• Involve in technologies study and network design
• Cooperate with Products & Marketing, Planning and Operations on network implementation and service rollout
• Assist in providing service including but not limited to CE2.0 network, SDNet/2 and mobile transport network.

To Succeed in the Role

• High Diploma or University Degree holder in Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering or related disciplines with minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in telecommunications or IT industry
• Good knowledge in broadband network technologies, data network architecture, IP routing and switching, PC/server and Internet related application software.
• Good knowledge in configuring and operating networking equipment such as routers, switches, and servers.
• Effective oral and writing communication skills in English and Chinese/Putonghua
• Quick learner and willing to take up new challenges.
