Database Specialist, Fixed Network Operations

Your Role

•   Design, implement, and maintain databases in accordance with company requirements
•   Monitor database performance and optimize as necessary
•   Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
•   Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate access controls
•   Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
•   Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures for new applications
•   Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration

To Succeed in the Role

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in database administration
• Certification in Database Administration (Oracle Certified Professional) is a plus
• Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)
• Experience with database backup and recovery solutions
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques and tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
