Clould Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure architectures in collaboration with other IT teams.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular system audits to detect vulnerabilities within the cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
• Provide cloud security awareness training to employees.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle practices.
• Monitor and analyze logs and alerts from cloud services and security tools.
• Stay updated with the latest in cloud security technologies and trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years focused on cloud security.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and workflows.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Benchmarks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
