Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Job Summary

As our business grows and transforms into a digital platform, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our Business Planning team. Reporting to the AVP of Business Planning, the successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and business planning, financial analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

 

The Role

  • Monitor business performance and collaborate with Business Unit stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and achieve revenue and gross margin AOP targets
  • Provide support and insight in performance tracking, reporting, and dashboard creation
  • Analyze financial and operational data and KPIs to support business decisions, including identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Assist in the development of rolling forecasts and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), covering revenue, expenses, and capital expenditure, and ensure effective tracking
  • Support financial modeling, business cases, and other ad hoc tasks as required
  • Utilize performance tracking indicators such as KPIs, LTV, CAC, and other relevant metrics, in addition to traditional accounting tools
  • Review, enhance, and fine-tune current processes to align with changing business needs and optimize efficiency
  • Extract, mine, transform, and automate data from various sources to ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Product, and Digital Innovation teams to support the planning and analysis cycle

 

To succeed the role

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
  • Qualified accountant with minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.  Knowledge in the Telecommunication industry is a plus
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, capable of handling big data with high accuracy and within tight timelines
  • A lateral thinker and innovative problem solver with excellent planning skills
  • Mature, analytical, self-motivated, and able to work independently, demonstrating good business acumen
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with individuals at all levels
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
  • Prior experience with Oracle and Epicor systems is an advantage
