Business Development Manager
Our Role
- Proactively identify and pursue new prospects and business opportunities by leveraging deep understanding of the Data Centre Infrastructure and Critical Power Supply business.
- Collaborate closely with sales to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through a combination of proactive outreach, networking, and responding to RFPs
- Demonstrate expertise in various Data Centre related projects, including:
- Design and Build Data Centre / Computer Room Facilities solutions.
- Cooling solutions and technologies for High Performance Computing Centre / Traditional Data Centre.
- UPS product and solutions
- DCIM solution and integration with monitoring tools for supporting Data Centre Operations.
- Develop comprehensive business strategies, proposals, and presentations that showcase the value of HKT solutions and address client needs effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify new revenue streams and growth opportunities.
- Build and develop a strong solution partner ecosystem to strengthen project delivery capabilities, especially in the power supply, builder works, E&M work, Fire protection work.
To succeed this role
- Proven experience in a business development or sales or pre-sales role within the IT industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Data Centre solutions and industry practice.
- Comprehensive understanding of an ecosystem and industry network of partners
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical information for diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset.
