Business Analyst

The role

As a vital member of our payment innovation engine, you will support the Product Manager (PM) in bridging the gap between visionary business ideas and robust technical execution. Under the coaching of our Team Lead, you will:

• Assist the PM in investigating evolving marketing trends and gathering intelligence from multiple data sources. You will help prepare deep-dive findings and figures to arrive at data-driven insights that optimize payment function utility.
• Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors. You will use strong interpersonal skills to communicate complex system logic to stakeholders at their specific level of technical understanding.
• Facilitate the full product lifecycle for multiple concurrent payment projects, from gathering User requirement, UAT planning and hands-on deliverables. You will also play a key role in knowledge management by preparing project documentation and functional reference materials to ensure seamless team operations.
• Actively contribute to squad-based projects with shared targets. You will work closely with the PM to ensure all collective milestones are achieved together.
• Assist in maintaining project backlogs and ensure a seamless transition from concept to launch within a continuous development cycle.
• Periodically support the team in performing production or regression tests at night following specific deployments, ensuring systems are flawless for the next business day.

To succeed in this role

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. We are looking for candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in gathering user requirements, system testing, or system support, preferably in the banking or FinTech industry.
• Practical knowledge of Payment Systems (FPS, Card Scheme, API integration) and a strong conceptual understanding of Web3 products and AI-driven financial tools. You are passionate about the future of Fintech and are eager to deepen your expertise in these technologies under the guidance of our senior leaders to drive next-generation payment utility.
• A fundamental ability to read and comprehend technical logic/code to help refine specifications and bridge the gap with developers.
• Intellectual curiosity to dig into data and the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources into actionable insights.
• Fluency in English and Chinese is essential. You can articulate complex ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels, bridging the gap between coding experts and business users.
• In the world of payments, every decimal point and line of code matters. Your precision is your superpower.
• Comfortable working across different projects as priorities evolve and value being part of a supportive team environment where goals are achieved through collective effort.
• Possess a strong sense of ownership in meeting tight schedules and demonstrate the dedication to support occasional off-hour production cycles when the mission requires it to ensure a successful launch.
