Bid Specialist
Your role
You will be accountable for managing the end-to-end bid lifecycle in multi-disciplinary ICT (Information and Communications Technology) projects. You will lead cross-functional teams in managing large scale and strategic bids from pre-qualification, strategy formulation to contract closing.

Provide support to virtual teams to evaluate bid opportunities

Lead virtual teams to develop and deliver quality bid proposals

Structure winning deals by ensuring compliance with customer tender requirements

Ensure adherence to Group policies and guidelines in bid process

Work closely with internal business units (e.g. legal, finance and risk management offices) to conduct risk assessment and due diligence on tender projects

Engage with customers in commercial and contract negotiations

Provide the necessary support to ensure seamless project hand-over to the virtual team
To succeed in this role

Degree holder in Business or IT discipline with at least 5 years working experience in ICT industry

Familiar with ICT products and services and willing to develop bid management and contract management skills

Bid management experience preferred

Ability to deal with complex business relationships and manage multiple resources to deliver a strong, winning case to the prospective customer

Ability to work independently and in a team environment, excellent attention to detail

Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude

Strong communication skills and a good command of English and Chinese
