Assistant Vice President

The Job :

• Technical lead for system and solution design, program coding, database implementation, testing, enhancement, upgrade and provide technical support for the Mobile Value Added Services and Corporate Solutions
• Have hands-on experience in tender technical response preparation, secure software programming, code review and writing documentation (e.g. FRS, Design spec, System flow, Operation manual, Test plan, Test report, etc)
• To be able to transform user requirements into a cost effective, solutions and to be able to well communicate with customer.
• To act as a vendor manger to formulate technical solution with vendor and ensure successful solution delivery.
• To act as project manager to monitor the project progress throughout the project life cycle and to ensure the project can be completed within the target schedule

The person

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications or related disciplines
• 8 to 10 years software development experience
• Experience in :

1. 1. C/C++, Java, C#, .Net Framework, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, socket & Web application  programming
   2. Ajax, CSS, HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, J2EE, JSP, PHP, Web 2.0, ODBC
   3. TCP/IP protocol, SMPP protocol, SIP, Sigtran
   4. DB setup and support replication or form failover cluster (include MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle DB)
   5. VMware, Hyper-V setup
   6. Windows & Linux OS with failover cluster (include Cent OS, Red Hat, Windows Server), server hardening
   7. Mobile network and Messaging System (e.g. SMS, MMS, RCS etc)

• Practical experience in setting up IP network with Routers, Switches & Firewalls
• Knowledge in Mobile VAS and Mobile network technologies
• Solid vendor management skills and experience
• Self-motivated, independent, fast learning and positive attitude
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Sound project and risk management skills
• Good communication and people management skills
• Good command of English, Chinese and Putonghua
