Assistant Vice President, Group Enterprise Risk Management

AVP, Group Risk Management & Compliance

 

Directly report to SVP, Group Risk, the incumbent will lead the Group Risk and Compliance function to manage overall risk exposure across the PCCW & HKT Group in collaboration with relevant business units and senior stakeholders.

 

 

The Job

 

  • Set the strategic risk management vision and formulate the subsequent strategies for the entire Group & businesses
  • Initiate and develop the Group's compliance policies and frameworks, maintain oversight of the implementation and maintenance of compliance initiatives that effectively reduce the Group's collective risk exposure
  • Review the management of enterprise risk exposure, including identifying and measuring risks from Group level, and implementing appropriate risk controls across different business units
  • Lead the Business Continuity Planning for recovery and resolution activities after high-risk incidents in collaboration with key business and functional units
  • Partner with Risk Management Committee on regular basis to help review, shape key risk policies, governance and implementation of new strategies to reflect trends, practices with adherence to the Group’s defined risk tolerance
  • Demonstrate broad technical knowledge and have expertise that covers the conduct of business matters, corporate governance, regulatory risk and regulatory change matters

 

 

The Person

 

  • Reputable degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business, Management, Risk Management or insurance
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience in accounting, finance, or business and the recent years in risk management role in global multinational
  • Professional certification in relevant fields such as Internal Audit or Risk Management would be advantageous
  • Experience in managing insurance programs across regional offices would be advantageous
  • Experience in leading a team of insurance and contract risk management professionals
  • Ability to understand broader business issues
  • Proven track record with finance transformation & change leadership
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to influence senior key regional stakeholders
