Assistant Vice President, Commercial

The Assistant Vice President, Commercial is responsible for shaping and executing HKT's business and partnership strategies on AI, analytics, and automation innovations.

 

This position leads operations across the client lifecycle—from new business development and contract negotiation to account profitability and strategic partnerships. You will also build and manage alliances with technology vendors, digital solution providers, and ecosystem partners, supporting the company’s mission to deliver cutting-edge BPO and CX innovations.

 

Your Role

  • Drive commercial strategy and business growth across BPO, omni-channel CX, and digital transformation.
  • Identify new market opportunities, build business cases, and shape pricing strategies for sustainable profit and client value.
  • Serve as a trusted commercial partner for key enterprise clients, leading account growth, renewals, and strategic negotiations.
  • Build and nurture partnerships with leading technology and platform providers to expand service offerings.
  • Oversee commercial operations including contract management, financial governance, and performance reporting.
  • Lead RFP and proposal development to deliver winning, value-driven solutions.
  • Leverage market insights and competitor intelligence to strengthen strategy and positioning.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and commercial excellence.

 

To Succeed in this Role

  • 10+ years’ experience in commercial management, business development, or strategic partnerships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing large accounts or portfolios in BPO, telecom, tech services, or CXM industries.
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contracting, pricing, and financial modeling.
  • Skilled negotiator with experience in high-value deals, partnerships, and revenue-sharing models.
  • Solid understanding of P&L management, forecasting, and margin optimization.
  • Familiar with omni-channel CX, AI, RPA, and data-driven digital solutions.
  • Excellent communicator and influencer, able to engage effectively at executive level.
  • Strategic, analytical, and results-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
