Assistant Project Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial projects and provide technical support to field staff/contractors on service provisioning and restoration.

Your Role:

• To deliver project management service to customer’s project including project planning, task scheduling, control and monitoring of project execution, risk management and progress reporting
• To provide services on planning, implementation, and support on commercial project such as fiber access and network services provisioning.
• To lead and perform tasks including FTNS project development.
• To manage resource planning, coordination, cost control and ensure the project milestones /deliverables to be completed on time and meet the required quality standard
• To organize and attend meeting to report progress and resolve any project related issues
• To prepare project correspondence such as meeting agenda and minutes
• To liaise with internal department, contractors, and partners on services provisions process effectively.

To succeed in this role:

• Degree holder in Electronic / Electrical / Computer Engineering/ Computer Science / Information Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ working experience in project management of IT&T infrastructure project or field support
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Possess of relevant certification is desirable, e.g. CCNA/ITIL
• Holder of Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE is an advantage
• Analytical mind with good problem-solving capabilities
• Able to work independently and eager to learn new technology
• Experience in Wi-Fi is preferable
• Good command of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and large data file handling
• Good communication skills with internal and external parties
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in both oral and written English
• Immediate available is highly preferred
