Assistant Accounting Manager

Your role:

• Lead the financial planning and analysis function of Digital Business, including payment solutions services, eCommerce, loyalty programme and insurance agent business. 

• Manage financial accounting activities, including month-end closing, journal posting, internal recharging and monthly reporting

• Build financial models, business case and profitability analysis to justify Capex/ Opex investment and facilitate funding approval. 

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures. 

• Analyze financial and operational data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management, including identifying trends, risk and opportunities

• Monitor business performance and support Business Unit to drive business performance, strategic initiatives and meet annual targets.

• Comply with appropriate business processes and accounting best practices to maintain and strengthen controls

To success in this role:

• Qualified Accountant with Bachelor’s degree in related discipline

• 10+ years related experience; e-Commerce/ retail/ loyalty reward program experience preferred but not a must

• Analytical, detail-oriented, independent, committed, with good business acumen

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate financial information into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Oracle/ Hyperion experience is a plus

• Fluency in English and Chinese
