Assistant Engineer, Server and Network Operation Support

Your Role

• Provide daily system administration to IT Infrastructure: Linux, VMware, Load Balancer and Storage Area Network (SAN) / Network Attached Storage (NAS)
• Responsible for system troubleshooting, monitoring and system hardening
• Change package deployment on production system
• Perform Operational Acceptance Test (OAT) before production launch
• Attend 7 x 24 hrs emergency call out outside normal working hours when necessary

To Succeed to the Role

• Diploma or above in Electronic, Information Technology, Computer Science, Communication Engineering or related disciplines with 4 years of relevant working experience
• 3+ years’ experience in Linux administration/troubleshooting, VMware vSphere/vCenter configuration and F5 Load Balancer configuration
• Holder of professional certificate of CCNA/RHCSA/RHCE is an advantage
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Senior Technical Officer
