Assistant Engineer, Broadband and Data Network Service Management Center

Your Role

• Supervise and support Center Operations for Broadband and Data Services
• Take lead and manage network expansion, migration and network improvement projects
• Establish operation procedures for network and work practice improvement
• Support new service rollout and maintain operation acceptance
• Carry out regular network review and identify improvement areas
• Attend shift or 7 x 24 hours emergency support outside normal working hours if necessary

To Succeed in the Role

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communication Engineering or related disciplines with minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in IT or Telecommunication industry or Diploma with 5 years’ relevant experience
• Experience in Center Operations, Fault management and Customer handling skills
• Technical and practical knowledge in IP Networking, e.g. switch, router, firewall, Cloud, or SD-WAN, etc
• Knowledge of Operational Process Management (e.g. ITIL framework) is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidate with less experience or lower qualifications (Higher Diploma / Diploma in related disciplines) will be considered as Senior Technical Officer
