Assistant Building Engineer

Your Role

• Assist in the execution and management of preventive and corrective maintenance work of the building fabric/structure and plumbing & draining system. 
• Handle minor fit-out works and repairing works; site work progress monitoring
• Attend emergency call-out service if required; conduct fault investigations
• Facilitate the tendering process, conduct feasibility studies & prepare specifications & reports
• formulating maintenance plans; liaising with end users to ensure meet their needs
• Monitor and coordinate works carried out by contractors
• Supervise in-house technicians

To Succeed in the Role

• Higher Diploma or above in Building Surveying, Building Studies, Building Technology, Construction Management, or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in repairs and maintenance in facilities management or property management
• Able to manage day-to-day operations & maintenance, Mandatory Building Inspection Scheme/Mandatory Window Inspection Scheme (MBIS/MWIS) works independently
• Self-motivated with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Customer services oriented
• Proficiency in written/spoken English and Chinese, particularly in incident report writing
