Assistant Accounting Manager
We are seeking a high-calibre Assistant Manager / Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in supporting strategic growth initiatives and key transformation projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to partner with business stakeholders, contribute to financial analysis and project evaluation, and support the delivery of key business and finance initiatives.
Your New Role
Financial Analysis & Business Partnering Focus, including but not limited to:
- Support Finance Managers and business units in providing timely financial analysis, reporting, and decision support
- Assist in evaluating business cases and strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modelling
- Participate in financial due diligence and assessment processes for investment and business opportunities
- Monitor business performance against budgets, forecasts, and key project assumptions
- Prepare management reports, presentations, dashboards, and performance analyses for internal stakeholders
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of finance-related projects and initiatives
- Assist in process improvement and finance transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency
To Succeed in This Role
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines
- Qualified CPA or actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification
- 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, FP&A, audit, or business finance roles
- Experience gained from Big 4 accounting firms and/or sizable corporate environments is preferred
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive with a positive, can-do attitude
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is an advantage
