AVP, International Mobility Pre-sales

The AVP, International Mobility Pre-sales manages mobility partnerships and drives global business development efforts for the company's mobility products and services. This role requires strong partnership management skills, deep knowledge of MNO and MVNO concepts and the prepaid SIM card industry, as well as experience organizing and executing successful partner events.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a project to identify, evaluate, and establish new strategic partnerships that can significantly impact the company's mobility business worldwide
  2. Negotiate and manage partnership contracts and service-level agreements to ensure competitiveness in the market
  3. Pro-active to establish a relationship with key mobility partners, fostering strong collaboration and delivering mutual business value
  4. Review and evaluate comprehensive partnership go-to-market plans, including joint marketing, sales, and promotional campaigns
  5. Monitor partner performance and identify areas for improvement or expansion of the partnership overseas
  6. Organize and lead partner events, such as training sessions, business reviews, and advisory councils
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the MNO, MVNO, A2P SMS, eSIM and IoT space
  8. Provide solution to the leadership team on partnership strategy and opportunities

 

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  2. 10+ years of experience in partnership management, global business development, or channel management in the telecommunications or mobile industry
  3. Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships
  4. In-depth knowledge of MNO, MVNO and MVNE concepts, A2P SMS, eSIM and IoT business development, and the broader mobility ecosystem
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  6. Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities
  7. Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time to meet with partners and attend industry events
  8. Fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
  9. Less experience will be considered for Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships
