AV Technician

Job Summary:

The AV Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to ensure seamless operation of AV systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup: Install and support audio, video, and lighting equipment for various client projects.

• Maintenance: Regularly inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, clients, and other technicians to understand requirements and provide technical support.

• Technical Support: Provide on-site technical advice and assistance during events, ensuring all equipment functions correctly.

• Shift work is required

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Media Production, or related field.

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Proficiency in AV systems such as audio and video conferencing, digital signage, AV room control solution such as Crestron, QSC, Brightsign and Shure.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
