Key Responsibilities

• Lead the team with 2 – 3 staffs on daily local access and international cable sourcing for Greater China and North Asia region

• Formulate the sourcing strategy to enhance the pricing competitiveness, service coverage and commercial terms

• Support automation quoting projects and implementation

• Support  direct cost saving projects such as discounts on renewals, vendor migrations, outage credits, etc.

• Handle the 1st level escalation case to negotiate with vendors’ senior level to settle the case timely

• Develop closer vendor relation, facilitate vendor review and meeting

• Share in-region market insight with Presales, Product and Sales teams

• Support the APAC Team Head in various reporting and project management matters

Person Specifications

• University degree holder

• 5 + experience in pricing and vendor management functions in the Telecom industry

• In-depth knowledge of APAC market benchmark and carrier international and domestic network

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skill

• Ability to independently manage a wide spectrum of activities and projects

• Business travel for vendor meetings / conference may be required

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
