Technical Support Officer

The Job:

  • To manage and administer 2nd Tier IT infrastructure systems and advanced ServiceDesk service operations
  • To develop and maintain computer system policy and procedure documents with the software development team to align new business requirement
  • To plan and oversee computer systems including server, storage and backup, network and security operation projects with optimal configuration, application tuning and performance monitoring by industry good practice
  • To act primary role for internal audit response by defined standards, policies, and procedures to meet compliance and regulatory requirements, including asset inventory control, facilities management, information and network security, vulnerability and lifecycle management, etc.
  • To sustain regular proactive review and liaise with vendors for agreed SLAs, change management, incident response reporting etc.
  • To support ad-hoc, standby, emergency call-out, and overtime work as assigned by the supervisor may be required

The Person:

  • Degree / Higher Diploma in Information and Communications Technology or Computing related disciplines
  • Proven experience and knowledge of Windows and Linux administration and operation, information and cybersecurity, virtualization and networking will be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and willing to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Effective communication and written in English and Chinese
  • Candidate with more experience or qualification will be considered as Senior Technical Officer
  • 5-day work, no shift duty is needed
