Network/ Broadband Technician

IP Engineering team are managing PCCW Global IP networks, including design, implementation and on-going tier 3 support. The network covered worldwide with over 50 countries. IP Engineering team members spread in Asia, Europe and US.

We are seeking a motivated Technician to join us in the Hong Kong office. 

Job Requirements

• Responsible for cabling and maintenance at sites in daily operation
• Responsible for onsite works, shipment and inventory including cables, cards and equipment installation /removal
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to trouble shooting, equipment installation and upgrading

Preferred qualification

• Experience with data center environment and structure cabling
• Familiar with cabling materials, e.g. UTP, SMF, MMF
• Understanding of Cisco equipment
• Good communication skills in Cantonese and English
• Able to use  computer software e.g. MS Office, Words, Excel, Power Point
• Min Education of Secondary School F5 
• No shift required but flexibility to visit data centres during non office hours
