Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager and Team Lead for our China-based development team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing team performance and delivering high-impact projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and optimizing the efficiency of the development team to support growth and scalability.
• Acting as a key communication bridge between the China development and support teams and the Hong Kong-based development and management teams.
• Managing AI-enhanced project delivery initiatives, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
• Overseeing people management for a large team, including training, coaching, and mentoring junior colleagues and project managers.
• Collaborating closely with the Strategic Planning and Project Management Office (PMO) teams in Hong Kong to align on objectives and strategies.
• Championing the adoption and integration of AI technologies within the development team to drive innovation, streamline processes, and deliver measurable business value.
• Partnering with operations support teams to accelerate team development and achieve operational excellence through practical AI applications.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• Proven experience as a senior project manager with a strong track record in people management and team leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and complex projects, preferably in a technology or telecommunications setting, with hands-on involvement in AI-related initiatives.
• Passion and enthusiasm for AI development and its practical application in business contexts, including experience implementing AI solutions to improve efficiency, automation, or customer-facing services.
• Fluency in Cantonese and business-level proficiency in English writing for effective communication across teams.
• Expertise in driving efficiency improvements through AI integration and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including strategic planning and operations support.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or Business Management); PMP, Agile, or AI-related certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to be based in Foshan, with occasional travel to Hong Kong as needed.
