JD - Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer, you will be contributing to the design and build of the services and tools that enable the quality of the product. You will also have responsibility to develop, implement and maintain automated test frameworks. You will work closely with the PO, developer, other Quality Engineers, and the wider project team members to accomplish assigned tasks related to automation. This is a highly technical, hands on role that will involve executing the automation test strategy for various application and platform stacks.

In this role you will:

• Collaborate with product owners and developers to influence product design, implementation, and enhancements, with a focus on supporting testability and quality
• Create test plans, execute functional, non-functional, and regression tests 
• Manage summary reports and bug list to influence and improve the quality of the product 
• Contributes to the development of test, frameworks, tools and infrastructure to enable test automation, CI/CD and code quality
• Provide technical feedback, guidance, and mentoring to other quality engineers, fostering their professional growth

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in application, system integration, API and E2E testing
• Experience in using JS based test automation tools Selenium/Cypress/Cucumber/Jest
• Strong experience in QA planning, coordination and execution within an Agile environment
• Previous experience integrating to continuous delivery and integration pipelines
• Experience with performance testing and the ability to identify and resolve performance-related issues
• Demonstrable ability to work under deadlines and effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment
• Experience in coaching and mentoring team members on quality engineering practices & processes
• Experience in planning, coordinating and reporting on test efforts for projects
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
