Senior Human Resources Generalist
We, at PCCW Global, are seeking an experienced HR Senior executive who will be responsible for managing all the human resources tasks of the company in Australia. You will also be responsible for supervising the Human Resources procedures as well as policies.
The ideal candidate must have prior work experience as an HR Executive or in similar role will be an added advantage for the candidate. You should possess excellent communication skills and ability to manage stress efficiently.
This is a 12 months contract with possibility of conversion.
Objectives of this Role:
- Be a key partner with HR team member, line managers and all employees for a variety of HR related tasks and operations.
- Responsible for managing all HR operation tasks of the company, supervising HR procedures as well as policies.
- Maintain and ensure HR employees’ data is up to date in HRIS system.
- Liaison with line managers for job requisition requests and processing in HRIS system.
- Assist in monthly payroll related matters such as new hires, resignation, etc with Payroll Vendor.
- Partner with finance team to manage vacancy budgets and forecasts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the HR Manager based in Singapore to oversee HR Department & manage the full spectrum of HR functions.
- Assist in monthly payroll related matters with Payroll Vendor.
- Validate payroll related data.
- Provide advice & handle all employees’ inquiries on HR related matters, processes and programs in an accurate and timely information to them.
- Investigate employee complaints & assist with counselling and recommend action on employee relations matters.
- Conduct employee orientation and training that may include but is not limited to company policies, benefits, safety for new employees.
- Responsible for all data maintenance of new hires, transfers, promotions, changes in pay and termination in HRIS system is up to date.
- Assist in the administration of HR activities such as recruiting, compliance programs, background investigations, related reporting.
- Administer of benefits such as leave, insurance, outpatient & others for new hires and terminations, etc.
- Responsible for on-boarding to off-boarding activities.
- Manage E-leave & E-attendance via HRIS System, including leave type entry, entitlement, application, certificate collection & approval and daily employee’s attendance
- Ensure timely & accurate submissions in all government and related claims, e.g. Pension, Maternity, Paternity Leave, income tax matters, etc with the Payroll Vendor.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Undertake any ad-hoc projects assigned by the superior/management team from time to time.
Job Requirements / Skills & Qualifications:
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Administrative / Business Studies
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR working experience in Telco or ICT industry preferred.
- At least 3 years of payroll related experience or working with payroll vendor.
- Skilled in dealing with many stakeholders across an international organization.
- Familiar with local Government regulations and HR practices.
- Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Success Factor or SAP is a huge advantage.
- A team player with a strong sense of responsibility & self-motivation to get tasks done independently
