You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and other product leaders to ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap, ensuring value delivery to customers through incremental releases. Your goal will be to align product vision with business objectives and customer needs in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business strategy and customer needs. Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to develop long-term product strategies.
- Roadmap & Backlog Management: Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that priorities are aligned with strategic goals. Collaborate with Agile teams, System Architects and the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to plan and execute Program Increments (PIs).
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that the product meets market demands and user expectations. Utilize customer feedback, data, and analytics to make informed decisions.
- Program Increment (PI) Planning: Participate in PI planning sessions, defining and communicating product features, milestones, and goals for the upcoming increment. Work with Scrum teams to prioritize features and user stories for sprint execution.
- Collaboration with Agile Teams: Partner with Scrum Masters, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure product features are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Foster collaboration and continuous improvement within teams.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams including design, development, quality assurance, and marketing to bring the product to life, ensuring alignment across all functions.
- Metrics & KPIs: Establish and monitor product performance metrics, ensuring the product is delivering on business and customer objectives. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for communication between the product, business, and technical teams. Regularly update stakeholders on product progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Risk Management & Adaptability: Identify potential risks and dependencies early in the development process and work proactively to mitigate them. Adapt the product strategy to changing business priorities and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in a SAFe or Agile environment.
- SAFe Certification (e.g., SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager) is strongly preferred.
- Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile principles, specifically in a SAFe environment. Experience with PI planning, backlog grooming, and working in Agile Release Trains.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

- Customer Focus: Strong ability to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to make informed decisions using product data, user feedback, and market trends.
- Technical Understanding: Comfortable working closely with technical teams and understanding technical trade-offs.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other Agile management tools.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with Lean Portfolio Management and continuous delivery pipelines.
