Role Overview

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be contributing to the design and build of the services and tools that enable the quality of the product. You will also have responsibility to develop, implement and maintain automated test frameworks. You will work closely with the PO, developer, other Quality Engineers, and the wider project team members to accomplish assigned tasks related to automation. This is a highly technical, hands on role that will involve executing the automation test strategy for various application and platform stacks.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners and developers to influence product design, implementation, and enhancements, with a focus on supporting testability and quality
  • Create and review QE team test strategy and take ownership of QE team initiative
  • Guide and review junior QE work
  • Create test plans, execute functional, non-functional, and regression tests 
  • Manage summary reports and bug list to influence and improve the quality of the product 
  • Contributes to the development of test, frameworks, tools and infrastructure to enable test automation, CI/CD and code quality
  • Provide technical feedback, guidance, and mentoring to other quality engineers, fostering their professional growth.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer, demonstrating a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in automation testing, utilizing industry-standard tools and frameworks
  • Strong experience in QA planning, coordination and execution within an Agile environment
  • Proficiency in frontend and backend test automation, including the use of relevant tools and technologies
  • Solid understanding of API and web services (REST/SOAP/XML) and the ability to develop and maintain API integration tests
  • Previous experience integrating to continuous delivery and integration pipelines
  • Experience with performance testing and the ability to identify and resolve performance-related issues
  • Demonstrable ability to work under deadlines and effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
