Senior Network Developer

Location: Athens, Greece

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior network automation developer to join our IP engineering team. Your primary objective will be creating the interface to the network devices that others will consume.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop application to automate sending commands to and retrieving states from the network devices either through MDT, NETCONF/RESTCONF, SNMP, and CLI scraping
• Align software development with business and operational requirements
• Support SREs during development and troubleshooting
• Be the very last point of escalation for your applications
• Peer review the merge requests developed by your colleagues

Technical Requirements

• Fluent with Python (Go is a plus)
• Understanding of develop MDT, NETCONF/RESTCONF, SNMP, BGP, IGP, MPLS on Cisco network devices
• Familiarity with Druid, Postgres and graph databases (Neo4J and Apache AGE)
• Familiarity with Kafka, Telegraf, and Risingwave
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm charts
• Familiarity with Napalm, Nornir, and Nautobot
• Previous working experience in a large telco or an international carrier is an advantage.
