We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Systems Developer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will design and implement advanced systems that not only efficiently export telemetry data but also develop sophisticated command and control systems. Your work will be instrumental in integrating our IP based products and services with those from other business units and companies, automating essential network functions, transforming our IP Engineering environment with automation and machine learning, and providing real-time analytics for rapid adaptation to the changing business, technological and operational environment.

Job Summary: Python developer building systems to manage telemetry stream, closed loop network management as well as command and control systems in the Network Automation Development Team.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Telemetry System Development: Develop robust systems for exporting telemetry data to various stakeholders. Ensure these systems are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Command and Control System Development: Design and implement command and control systems that manage and monitor network operations and data flow, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
  • Integration of Services and Products: Facilitate the integration of connectivity, IP products, and services with offerings from other business units and external companies.
  • Network Automation: Use telemetry and command and control data to automate critical network operations.
  • Transformation of IP Engineering Environment: Employ automation and machine learning technologies to modernize the IP Engineering environment, enhancing efficiency and innovation.
  • Real-Time Business Analytics: Create systems that provide real-time analytics, enabling quick adaptation to market and technological changes.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Communication: Work closely with various teams, including engineering, operations, and analytics, to understand their system needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement and Technological Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends in telemetry, command and control systems, machine learning, and data analytics to continually enhance our systems and processes.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing telemetry systems and command and control systems.
  • Strong programming expertise, particularly Python and other languages relevant to system development and data engineering.
  • Familiarity with machine learning technologies and automation tools.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture principles and experience in developing and deploying microservices.
  • In-depth knowledge of data processing, and real-time analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • A driven innovator, constantly seeking to learn and stay abreast of industry developments.
