Senior Manager, Marketing, Strategy and Business Intelligence
About the Job
- We are seeking a Senior Manager to join the Marketing, Strategy and Business Intelligence team, responsible for driving full-funnel marketing strategy and execution in the Singapore market.
- This role will lead the planning and execution of integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels, including media, KOL, social, and CRM to drive user acquisition, engagement, retention, and subscription growth.
- This role will also lead Viu's PR and communications function for the Singapore market— including management of the PR agency, the development of story angles and media pitches.
Main Responsibilities
Integrated Marketing & Campaign Strategy
- Lead the development and execution of full-funnel marketing strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels to drive awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Translate business and content priorities into integrated campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes across the user lifecycle
- Drive and own cross-functional alignment across PR, paid media, social, CRM, and partnerships to ensure cohesive and efficient campaign execution
- Identify opportunities to optimise channel mix, messaging, and touchpoints to maximise ROI and conversion
- Own post-campaign reporting and performance
Brand, PR and Communication
- Own and evolve Viu Singapore's brand narrative and positioning
- Develop and manage press assets, materials and media advisories, ensuring accuracy of content, timelines, and messaging
- Track media performance, including reporting and coordination of interviews and press assets
- Work with regional teams to align local narrative with the broader Viu brand direction
- Manage and brief the PR agency
Marketing Operations & Governance
- Manage marketing budget and ensuring alignment with finance and HQ requirements
- Support ad-hoc strategic projects as required by the AVP and Country Manager
Requirements
- At least 8 years’ experience; experience in the media, entertainment or agency experience is a plus.
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Business or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a passion for Korean and Chinese entertainment are required.
- Business and conversational proficiency in Simplified Chinese (written and spoken) is required; Traditional Chinese is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience working across media, KOL, social, paid, and CRM channels, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Partnerships, and regional counterparts
- A proactive and resourceful mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities that drive commercial outcomes.
- Strong understanding of how content and campaigns are amplified across channels, and be able to identify opportunities to strengthen performance beyond a single touchpoint.
- Comfortable working across multiple touchpoints, balancing hands-on execution with cross-functional leadership and coordination, while maintaining alignment with broader business objectives such as user acquisition, retention, and subscription growth.
