Manager, Marketing & Media Relations

You Role 

  • Campaign Leadership: Lead the end-to-end development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social, and offline channels to drive audience engagement and brand objectives.
  • Media Relations: Manage media relations strategy, cultivating strong relationships with press, journalists, and KOLs. Secure consistent multi-platform coverage that delivers an average PR value of RM500K–RM1M per campaign. 
  • Content & Messaging Oversight: Oversee the development, editing, and approval of press releases, media kits, Q&As, and other communication materials. Ensure alignment with Viu’s brand tone, positioning, and messaging guidelines.
  • Event Execution: Plan and execute media-facing events including press conferences, junkets, influencer sessions, and campaign launches to create buzz and media coverage around Viu's priority titles and initiatives. 
  • Project & Event Management: Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, creative agencies, media partners, and vendors to deliver marketing materials and event assets on time and within budget. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with regional teams and internal departments—including Content, PR, Social, Digital, and Commercial—to align marketing efforts and ensure cohesive 360° campaign rollouts. 
  • Reporting & Impact Tracking: Monitor and evaluate campaign and media performance, providing actionable insights and contributing to post-campaign reporting.
