Vice President, Social Media and Content Innovation
Position Summary:
The Vice President, Social Media & Content Innovation is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving MV’s social media platforms, accelerating revenue growth from digital, online and offline business initiatives, and leading AI-enabled content transformation across the Media Group. The role combines commercial leadership, content innovation, stakeholder management and emerging technology adoption to deliver business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion AI adoption in content production, workflow automation, and any other related areas.
- Lead content production transformation programs to improve speed, quality, scalability and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate collaboration among content, marketing, sales, product, technology and business teams.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence senior executives, content leaders and external partners.
- Monitor market trends, audience behaviors, platform changes and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
- Establish KPIs, analytics frameworks and performance dashboards to measure business and content outcomes.
- Develop and lead high-performing teams while fostering a culture of innovation, agility and accountability.
- Own and lead the overall strategy, performance and growth of MV social media platforms.
- Drive audience engagement, monetization and brand relevance across all digital channels.
- Develop sustainable revenue streams from social, digital, online and offline businesses linked to content platforms and communities.
- Identify commercial partnerships, sponsorships, branded content and data-driven monetization opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
Required Experience
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in digital media, social media, content, audience development or related commercial functions. Proven success in developing digital revenue strategies and media monetization initiatives. Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale business or content transformation programs. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across complex organizations. Hands-on understanding of AI technologies and their application in media and content ecosystems. Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of media industry dynamics, consumer behaviors and platform economics.
