System Operator

Your Role:

• Become a member of an IT operation team consisting of Platform System Operators to provide 7x24 Tier 1 support to a mission critical private cloud platform consisting of 1000+ devices.
• Execute support operation services based on defined operation manuals and instructions provided by Tier 2 support team. Follow defined documentation for incident and change management.
• Create and Maintain Incident tickets with support teams
• Shift based role. Normally working in office environment

To Succeed in This Role:

• Minimum 2 Years of IT related work experience, of which:
  • Minimum 2 Years in providing Tier 1 operation support to but not limited to the following software components:
  • Minimum 1 Years as a team member in a Tier 1 IT Operation team delivering IT Operation support services.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Come from an IT System Integration company background;
• Have worked as IT Operation team member in a HKSAR Government IT Maintenance project or in-house mission critical systems with SLA Management.
• Experience with responding to user problems via telephone and e-mail; and
• Familiar with using ticketing systems such as BMC Remedy, Microfocus SMAX to log and update incident cases.
