Senior Manager

Your role:

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of the cloud infrastructure for the eMPF project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, project managers, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud infrastructure components.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing cloud infrastructure performance, scalability, and security.
• Oversee the deployment of applications and services on the cloud platform while ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Manage a team of cloud engineers/administrators responsible for maintaining and monitoring the cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to cloud computing.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection regulations, and industry-specific requirements in all aspects of the eMPF project's cloud infrastructure.

To succeed in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect are desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a similar role within the IT industry.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale cloud infrastructures for enterprise-level projects.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts, platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure), virtualization technologies, networking protocols, storage systems (e.g. SAN/NAS), and related tools.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams or projects related to cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.es, networking protocols, storage systems (e.g. SAN/NAS), and related tools.
