Senior Data Officer
Job Title: Data Specialist – Data Warehouse Team (eMPF Project)
Position Overview
As a Data Specialist within the eMPF Data Warehouse (DWH) Team, I am responsible for driving critical data integrity, optimization, and operational support tasks during the platform's active onboarding and steady-state phases. Entering the upcoming contract term, the role focuses heavily on end-to-end ETL deployment checks, high-impact SQL CI/CD optimization for core interfaces, dedicated hypercare support for major trustee schemes, and executing ad-hoc system changes and ticket resolutions under tight project deadlines.
Core Responsibilities
Initial Load & Delta Support: Manage and execute data ingestion workflows, including pre-Data Ingestion (DI) validation checking, deployment of ETL processes, and post-Data Quality (DQ) processing, ensuring verified output CSV files are accurately generated and delivered to trustees.
CI/CD & SQL Performance Optimization: Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for core SQL assets. Proactively analyze, configure, and optimize the performance of 46 critical system interfaces to handle high-volume data traffic efficiently.
Dedicated Trustee Hypercare Support: Serve as the primary, front-line technical contact point during the hypercare support phases for major onboarding schemes (including Manulife and RB), directly troubleshooting, owning, and resolving all outstanding data and system issues.
CR/CE Project Delivery: Provide critical Data Warehouse Team (DWT) technical support for ad-hoc Change Requests (CR) and Change Enhancements (CE), including end-to-end execution of specialized system updates such as CR091.
Enterprise Jira Issue Management: Manage, investigate, and resolve diverse technical Jira service tickets assigned to the DWT, addressing system anomalies, data mismatches, and inquiry requests originating from all onboarded Trustees
