Lead Solution Specialist
Company Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Analyst / Lead Solution Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the implementation and operation of our payment service platform as part of a large-scale ePension platform.
Position Overview: As a Senior System Analyst / Lead Solution Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration and operation of payment services that involve collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including software vendors, internal developers, and various banking institutions. You will leverage your expertise in end-to-end payment flows such as Direct Debit Authority (DDA), Direct Debit Instruction (DDI), Faster Payments Service (FPS), Central Moneymarkets Unit (CMU), and Bank Open API to ensure the performance and accuracy of the payment .
Key Responsibilities:
· Technical Leadership: Act as the technical owner for payment service, guiding internal teams and external vendors through all phases of the project lifecycle and application support.
· Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements for payment services.
· System Design & Architecture: Design scalable and efficient system architectures that support complex payment flows while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
· Integration Management: Oversee integration efforts with third-party software vendors and banking partners, ensuring seamless connectivity and robust data exchange.
· End-to-End Payment Flow Analysis: Analyze existing payment flows (DDA/DDI, FPS, CMU) to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
· API Development & Management: Work closely with developers to design, implement, and manage Bank Open APIs that facilitate secure transactions between systems.
· Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop testing strategies to validate system functionality against requirements; ensure thorough testing is conducted before deployment.
· Documentation & Training: Create comprehensive documentation for system designs, processes, and user guides; provide training sessions for internal teams as needed.
· Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout project lifecycles; provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues.
· Compliance & Security Oversight: Ensure that all systems comply with relevant regulations and security best practices.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
· 5+ years of experience in system analysis or technical lead roles preferred within financial services or payments industry.
· Strong understanding of end-to-end payment flows including DDA/DDI, FPS, CMU, and Bank Open API standards.
· Proven experience working collaboratively with software vendors and banking institutions on complex projects.
· Proficiency in system design methodologies; familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices is a plus.
· Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail; ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
· Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with an ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
