Deputy Sales Director

The Unit Sales Head is responsible for leading a small sales team to achieve both individual and team revenue targets. This role combines hands-on sales execution with people leadership, coaching, and performance management. The Unit Sales Head will drive business growth through strategic account development, new business acquisition, and continuous improvement of team capabilities and sales effectiveness.

 

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

· Own and achieve individual sales targets while ensuring the team consistently delivers against assigned revenue goals.

· Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and client retention.

· Monitor sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, and overall business performance within the assigned unit.

· Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue potential.

· Lead key client negotiations and support team members in closing strategic deals.

· Ensure effective sales planning, account management, and categories coverage.

· Prepare and present sales forecasts, business reviews, and performance reports to head of Sales.

 

Coaching, Training & Talent Development

· Act as a coach and mentor to team members, helping them strengthen sales skills, client management capabilities, and business acumen.

· Identify skill gaps and create development plans to improve overall team performance.

· Support onboarding and training of new sales team members to accelerate productivity.

· Share best practices, market insights, and successful sales approaches across the team.
