Assistant Accounting Manager

Your new role

As one of key members under Group Finance Division to provide business performance analysis and insights to drive the revenue for Lenovo PCCW Solutions in alignment with its business direction and market trend, including but not limited to:

• Participate in the formulation of annual operation plan (AOP), audit schedules, tax computation
• Prepare month-end closing, monthly management & financial reports or presentation deck with analysis and insights to drive business performance, strategic initiatives and meet annual targets
• Assist in tracking over 250+ projects’ financials in a timely manner with insights and recommendations
• Ensure complete, accurate, and timely billing of services provided to customers
• Ensure proper internal controls are in place and assist in formulating appropriate policies and procedures, if necessary
• Reivew Group’s Capex and Investment cases, to ensure consistency and compliance of Group’s goals and policies
• Support daily operation of the team or other ad hoc projects on a needed basis

The successful candidate will work in our Group Finance Management Accounting team to provide professional support and advice in business performance monitoring and investment appraisals.  S/he will be responsible for preparation and review of monthly account closing and reporting, forecasting and annual operating plan, as well as annual audit and tax return filing for our Media businesses.  S/he will also be required to work closely with business units and to perform analytical review of business performance, to track key milestones and performance indicators, as well as to identify business exceptions and fluctuations. 

In addition, s/he will review Group’s Capex and investment cases, to ensure consistency and compliance of Group’s goals and policies, and be involved in other ad hoc projects. 

To succeed this role

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or related disciplines
• At least 4-5 years’ relevant experience in financial planning and analysis; prior experience in auditing is a plus
• Qualified member or finalist of HKICPA or equivalent is preferred
• Experience and knowledge in IT Solutions business will be an advantage
• A self-motivated and detail-oriented team player who are able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
• Presentable and analytical with good interpersonal skills and strategic mindset
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint to analyze the data and prepare presentation to the Management
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, Mandarin will be an advantage
