Inside Sales Team Leader

Role Overview

Our Console Connect digital platform provides automated interconnection, cloud connectivity and in future – other telecoms based services around digital access allowing Enterprises to purchase and manage their access to business-critical data, SaaS applications and business partners around the globe through an online environment. Thanks to continued investment and expansion in on-demand, digital services, a new opening has arisen for an Inside Sales Team Leader to establish and lead an Inside Sales team from our Philippines office, driving new business for Console Connect. (

We are looking for a dynamic, hands on Inside Sales Team Leader who has the passion for online/remote sales, achieving new business targets and developing sales people. A key focus of the role will be to develop and manage a small high performing team, owning the end-to-end online sales process to nurture leads to appointment/demo stage and convert opportunities remotely. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Build, train and motivate a small team of top performing inside sales executives
  • Manage external agencies where appropriate
  • Inspire, lead and create a positive and high performance culture and sales environment 
  • Track and be accountable for overall team productivity
  • Coach, support and train your team in sales methodologies to improve qualification processes and ensure objectives and targets are achieved
  • Identify new opportunities and develop targeted sales pitches
  • Own your team’s KPIs, ensuring accurate data is recorded in the appropriate systems and reported upwards as appropriate
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure optimised campaigns drive sufficient/appropriate leads to meet sales objectives
  • Share and implement best practices across the team


Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 5 years track record of achieving sales targets for a growth SaaS/technology/telecoms business
  • Proven experience leading a fast-paced inside sales team for new business acquisition in a highly automated Inside Sales environment
  • Comfortable with working with all levels of warm and cold leads
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with both internal and external customers in English.
  • Passionate about delivering excellence  and continual improvement in a fast-paced, agile global business
  • Ability to inspire trust and confidence in order to coach and develop your team


Preferred Qualifications

  • A familiarity with the CRM system Hubspot would be an advantage
  • Some basic familiarity with modern telecoms systems (Ethernet, Internet, MPLS) is preferred
